Marietta is available for adoption. She is 8 years old and weighs 8 lbs. Her adoption fee is $300.00. "Sweet, and shy, willing to be good, a great candidate to become a therapy dog - that is our Marietta. Found as a stray running loose along a highway, she was scooped up and given to our rescue for care.
Marietta LOVES everyone. Pick her up, a million times! She loves to be held, cuddled, adored. Are you looking for a companion? Someone to hold and be your best friend? Someone to share your day's adventures, Marietta will listen. Are you home much of the time, perhaps lonely and needing a sympathetic listener? Marietta will gaze at you with adoring dog eyes as you stroke her glistening fur. Marietta loves other dogs and wants nothing more than to be with her human friends. In fact, she just hates to be separated from them. She eats with relish and loves whatever you serve, softened just the way she likes it.
Her tail wags and she wiggles across the room as she responds to her name being called. If she wants on your lap or to cuddle she will nudge you gently on your leg.
She has learned numerous commands like sit and stay, out, good girl, and a lot more. How she loves to be a good girl! She did wonderfully at the Grooming Spa with the girls and is enjoying her new haircut. It shows off her beautiful brown eyes. She likes warm soapy baths. You can blow dry her hair while brushing her out and as long as the hair dryer is a few feet away she enjoys it. The groomer said she did very well when they groomed her.
She rides nicely in the car and enjoys walks outside on her harness and leash. She has learned the bell sound on the harnesses means they are about to go outside.
Marietta is a treasure. A loving Yorkie girl who wants to be with you - til the cows come home. Marietta is vacationing with Vera and her crew in South Hills, PA out near Pittsburgh.
