Jamison is available for adoption. Meet Jamison Jamison is 6 years old and weighs 10 lbs. He is a happy boy who loves to snuggle and is very content. He is almost fully house trained, and really enjoys living in the country. He is very happy when he can walk in the yard and loves to sniff the flowers and play on the grass. Jamison also enjoys riding in the car. He has a very good disposition and has really adjusted well to his new brother and sister (Yorkies) in his foster home. Jamison was surrendered by his owner and came into rescue earlier this month. He was found to have a heart murmur and severe dental disease that caused an infection in his remaining eye. He underwent neutering on Monday and had to have all 20 teeth pulled, but he is recovering well. The infection left him with “dry eye” and very reduced vision, so he does like to stay close to his foster mom. Jamison is staying with Stephanie in New Holland, PA. More about A JamisonGood with Dogs Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
