Lady Cha Cha is waiting - patiently, but oh please - hurry. Don't make her wait longer.

She plays happily with her toys -ESPECIALLY her ball - she waits for you to throw it and then she runs back to you and tosses the ball to you. SMART! What a delight she is! Eyes shining, she wants you to PLAY. She wants to enjoy life - and with Spring just around the corner, oh BOY!

A fenced yard would be so nice. Cha Cha is a wonderful sturdy happy Yorkie girl. Don't miss out on this treasure. She deserves someone who will play ball and allow her to snuglle when she is worn out. She is just so much fun.

She now has a little tablet to take  with her dinner and she gobbles it down. How simple and easy the solution!

What a pretty girl.  And if you like to laugh, ChaCha is the girl for you.  She has a funny quirky personality that will keep you laughing all day.  She is happy and energetic,  and if you're not in the mood to play with her, she will throw her ball at you.  And if you STILL don't want to play with her, she will entertain you by throwing and chasing the ball all by herself.  ChaCha's motto is "Give a Smile, Get a Smile" so whenever  you come home, she will greet you at the door with a such a big smile she'll show you all her teeth.  First thing in the morning when you wake up, you will see her smiling face.  She smiles whenever she is happy and she's always happy to see you.

She must continue to take her magic tablets every day, but don't worry... there's  no muss or fuss trying to disguise her pills in food.  ChaCha will eat her tablets right out of your hand like a good girl.  It is like a treat to her, and she looks forward to it every day.

If you have a good sense of humor and would like someone to share some laughs with, put in your application for ChaCha.   She is waiting to show you her pretty white smile.

She needs more than food - your attention, your touch - your cry of delight when she brings you her bunny. Just think of the things you could do together - walks, play, car rides...

Lady Cha Cha is vacationing with Mary Ellen near Lancaster, PA  Please put in your application.

KEEP THESE FACTS IN MIND:
1. Yorkies do not usually get along well with small children and can be injured by small children, even ones who love them. Be aware of this and keep them apart. 2. Yorkies can be very difficult (nearly impossible) to housebreak. If you are gone for more than 3 hours at a time, the dog will have to have access to wee wee pads, or need someone to stop in to let him out to potty.
3. We almost NEVER get a puppy (less than one year old) in Yorkie Rescue. If only a puppy will do, check the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America website for a recommended breeder - never buy over the Internet, or from a newspaper ad or a petstore. The heartache you save will be immeasureable.
4. There is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie, so don't be misled by such a description. LEARN about the breed BEFORE you decide to adopt.
5. You will need to make arrangements to drive and meet the dog at the foster home which can be in New Jersey, western PA, Maryland,  etc. The dog's biography lists where the dog is fostering. We want you to meet the dog with your family and your dog, if you have one. This is a requirement for adoption.

WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption donations generally vary from dog to dog, it depends on the health, the age and the size of the dog.

Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.

 ADOPTION AREA

Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you.

Be aware that you will be asked to drive to meet and pick up your dog.
