After having Mazie for a week now ... we can report - Mazie is aMAZING! ...Her foster family reports that they have spent many hours working with her. Her first owner did not give her the training and direction, the patience and instruction, the time and attention, that a puppy needs. She was NOT potty trained at all. But she is now! This aMAZing girl uses the "Bell System". What is that you ask? Give us a call and we'll explain it. She rings a bell to go out - the family opens the door and out she goes to does her business; she plays for a little while then she's ready to come back in. She sleeps in bed every night. She's great with the other dogs and the cat. NO children though - she's too small and she is very protective of her home and family. It takes her a little while to get adjusted to anyone coming into the house. She does not like the crate at all, so when the famiy leaves for work she stays in the room with the other foster dog and is very content their with her. Mazie is a Velcro dog, always has to be near her people, at all times, loves laying on your lap very loving, she is going to make a great pet for the lucky family who gets her.
