Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie.
Presley in a Box. He is not a well disciplined puppy at the moment. He can't help it. He wasn't given training, any socialization, attention and most importantly - exercise and discipline. He was literally kept in a cage, a box - 22 hours a day for the first year of his life. Anyone hearing his circumstances would swear that the people were purposely cruel to the puppy. Because it is cruel - unbearably cruel - to crate a puppy for more than a few hours at a time. We are astonished at the family's lack of care for this puppy. Yet they profess tremendous love for him. Love!? But that horror of life is over - at least for this puppy. Presley will now begin his new life, as difficult as this will be for one small puppy who never got to meet another dog, see new people, go for walks or learn to be a well socialized dog. We will have him neutered, and do our best to start the basics of training. He is a friendly puppy. A nice boy. He has no idea how to approach another dog so other dogs don't know what to make of him. He needs your time and lots of exercise and discipline. His new life starts today in Bethlehem, pa with Susan. If you are experienced with dogs and training them - and you are active and can keep up with him, please put your application in now. Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.
