Skidoo

Skidoo Cooper is having a blast. Look at this picture of pure joy! He was in rescue for only 48 hours and now he is off to his forever home, what a lucky boy he is! The Turner-Badler family adopted their dog Daisy from SAY Rescue in 2012, and they wanted a playmate for her. Both dogs had a great time playing together in the backyard.

Pepper - Minty

Pepperminty has found a wonderful family! He has a new name - Pippin and a new best buddy - a GIRL! Olive. They play all day and nap side by side. His family says he acts like he has always been a part of the family. They are in love and he is smiling in his sleep. Not only did this family adopt one small dog, they adopted one small rescue - US! They are joining and will be helping to pay their good fortune forward. Thank you Charlotte and your family!

Maggie Mae West

Maggie Mae never had a lot of anything. She was always one of a crowd, who only got the fuzzy end of the lollipop. Until today - today Maggie Mae West got the whole lollipop. Her name is Margie and they are such a happy two some. Both Maggie and Margie think they just got the best thing in the whole world. You can't get any happier than that. Good for you Maggie - er Margie!

Buttons Mackinson

From the bottom of despair to the heights of joy - Buttons has experienced it all. Her mom, her darling mom, whom she loved with all her heart and who cherished her, passed away the day after Christmas. Buttons wanted no one but her mom - and that was not possible. Lucky for Buttons, her aunt thought that rescue was the best hope for her. And a wonderful foster family said, YES! they would take her in for as long as she needed them. Buttons went to the vet and was kept busy so that she wouldn't spend her days in mourning. Just about one month later, a new family came into Buttons life. A wonderful, active happy family - just look at that picture! Buttons looks like she is the happiest dog in the world. We think she is and we know her new family thinks she is adorable. A very happy beginning... Buttons had enough endings.

Snowy Zoey

Snowy Zoey is the first dog to be adopted from Save A Yorkie Rescue in 2014, and what a lucky dog she is. She went home with the Henderson family and a their furry Prince to be the resident Princess in the house. They said they fell in love with her as soon as they saw her picture on our website. Zoey will now have the guidance and nurturing that was lacking in her previous home. She will have someone home all day with her to exercise her and teach her manners like every good dog should have. She is a lucky girl!!!
