Juley Nancy and Bruce Philipp were here with their grown daughter Donna, and little Yorkie Nikki. The dogs met outside and got along just fine, so we brought them into the house, where they continue to play well together. In spite of Juley's small size, she was not over powered by Nikki. And I had never seen Juley so active and excited! The dogs played well together and now are sisters. Great job Cheryl! Good for Juley!
Sweet William Whatâs better than having your foster fur baby be adopted by a loving family? Having your foster fur baby be adopted by a loving family thatâs also your friends and lives 5 minutes away! Sweet William, now known as Buddy found his forever home with our family friends, fellow dog-lovers and each otherâs dog-sitters. William (aka Buddy) is thriving in his new home! He is eating well, continuing to gain weight and is growing beautiful, silky hair. It takes a special family to adopt a special needs dog and we are so excited that William (aka Buddy) has found his forever home with that family. We are even more excited that we get to continue be a part of his life.
Pretty Pepper Pot Pepper has been with us a month now and we have all adjusted. The best thing we could hope for is that Lola is definitely happier to have a canine companion. Pepper keeps us on our toes much like a puppy and is escape artist. We are fine now leaving the two together, but rarely do both of us leave at same time. Pepper follows her dad all around and goes down to basement with him when he works, curled up in her bed. She sleeps with us as have all our dogs and has adjusted to our schedule. She devours her food and anytime someone goes in kitchen, she follows. Her 14th birthday will be celebrated on 7/16 two months after she arrived here. We were originally told she was 15 but even 14 is hard to believe. She acts like a puppy and certainly younger than Lola who is 12. Besides dad, squirrels are her main focus and she has gotten Lola into the act. Lola is losing her vision but is doing well. The Opaleks are again a multi-dog family. That is a good thing. Mary
Jack B Nimble Jack B Nimble: Fostered by Susan Biddle and adopted by Karen Salvia-Mottler This is Jack in his new home! He is on his Wrapped In Love blanket, and his new mom sent this photo and a message to the WIL person already (he was adopted 24 hours ago!). His blanket had a casino theme, so my family started calling him BlackJack!!!
Bodie Blue Bodie Blue was fostered by his family and they decided he was too good to let go. So Bodie is staying put and loving it. Look at those happy faces! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
