RocksE RocksE was very happy with her new family. I had a long talk with her prior to their visit and she was very happy to meet them. She laid down next to each one of them on her own and actually leaned into them and even put her head on the daughters leg. They are thrilled with her and I just talked with them. They had a 6 hour drive home. She ate, they took her out and she is now cuddling on her new Mommy's lap!
Bitsy Boo Please meet my latest foster failure - Bitsy Boo! Bitsy became very attached to me and I to her. I couldn't let her go as she attached herself to my heart. She's doing very well and as most of the tiny Yorkies are, she's very feisty. She'll play with me and with my Sarah, who is three times bigger than her. She loves belly rubs! She will chase my permanent puppy mill foster Annie away from me and Annie is way bigger than her! Bitsy is also a Velcro dog and I have Bitsy, Sophie and Boo attached to me whenever I sit down or lay down. I never pee or sleep alone! Bitsy is the best Christmas present I have ever had! Congratulations Bitsy Boo, you are a very lucky girl!!!
Dayzee Another foster failure! We adopted Dayzee, now known as Nattie because she just seemed meant to be with us. She fit in perfect with our boys Dutch & Jack and even after being treated so poorly by her former owners, she is still the sweetest, most loving little girl ever! She's been through so much but her resilient spirit is amazing & inspiring. Congratulations Dayzee, you are a very lucky girl!!!
Bashful Baxter Bashful Baxter and his new family, Paul and Kathleen. Congratulations Bashful Baxter, you are a very lucky boy!!!
Rosey Phone calls and emails started coming in asking about Rosey. Everyone thought they had a good reason to adopt her. Almost everyone I spoke with appeared to be missing something that would give her the forever home she needed. Some had no fenced in yard, or worked all day and she would be home alone, others simply wanted a âlap dog.â She needed a fenced in yard to run in, chasing after the chipmunks and birds. She needed companions other than humans. We knew that she needed Oliver to play with in the yard and take walks with her. My husband and I also knew, after a short period of time that we needed her to be part of our family. She is still becoming a loving and playful puppy. After only a few weeks, she cuddles more, plays more and has gained a lot more confidence in herself. She pushes Abby and Oliver, much larger dogs, out her way when itâs time to play in the yard. I enjoy watching her chase them and try to engage them in a tug of war. Sheâs not the same anxious dog she was when she first came to our home, but rather a very playful puppy. This little girl with her adorable smile and crooked teeth has captured our hearts. It was impossible to let her go. Congratulations Rosey, you are a very lucky girl!!!
