Dez

Desmond was adopted yesterday by the Kuar family. They drove up to Philadelphia yesterday morning. After discussing Dez and his needs for a period of time, they met Dez and played with him. Then, we went for a long walk with him, and they got to see how he does on a leash. We returned to my home, where they continued playing with Dez, and then they decided to adopt him. We completed the paperwork, and packed up all of Dez's things. They returned to Maryland to introduce him to his new home. I am waiting to hear from them this morning on how he did for his first night. Congratulations Dez, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Baxter Claus

Joy & William brought their teen twins Shane & Samantha to meet Bella & Baxter. It was love at first sight for everyone. After the kids took the pups for a short walk outside, we all met in the livingroom. B&B were so excited, they completely forgot foster mom! Parents did paperwork & learned @ the pups while kids happily played with them on the carpet with new toys they brought them. Samantha spent her Christmas $$ on new beds for both pups! Congratulations Baxter Claus, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Jingle Bella

Porter

We have had Porter, his mom, and siblings since they were 3 weeks old. We loved them all of course but having him longer, training him, socializing him, and caring for his medical issues we realized we couldn't give him up. He wiggled his way into our hearts. Since I'm a Veterinary Technician he is able to go with me to work everyday and we are rarely apart, which is how it will stay ☺ Congratulations Porter, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Jeepers

Mitch an Lisa Cassaro visited today with us. Jeep and Bennie took a walk together and hung out on the sofa for a while. Jeep had ample chance to approach and sniff Mitch and Lisa several times until he learned that he did not have to fear them. Jeep and Bennie are very well matched in size, age, and temperament. Lisa's home is set up and well suited to Jeeper's needs. Jeepers is very timid, but, he allowed them to pet and scratch him. Jeep went home riding in his new seatbelted, doggie booster seat. LOL - "lots of love" to Jeepers and his forever family. Congratulations Jeepers, you are a very lucky boy!!!
