Ruckus

Today was a great day for Ruckus and the Geigle family. The Geigel family drove down from PA to the meet and greet and fall in love experience. It was just as foster mom hoped it would be, a wonderful snuggling doggie kisses meeting. In her heart she knew the Geigel family was a great placement for Ruckus' forever home. Foster mom cried a little and they cried a little too. Congratulations Ruckus, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Sandra Dee

Jaden (Carol and Richard’s dog) and Sandra Dee’s first meet went great. Sandra Dee was accompanied by her foster brother, Chazzy and they all did a lot of sniffing of each other and we went for a nice walk. Carol was given detailed info on Sandra Dee by Lynn inside her house, all while the dogs were checking each other out. Once we got back to Albany at Carol and Richard’s house, Sandra Dee walked in and began exploring while Jaden showed her his huge array of toys. It seems like Sandra Dee is the perfect addition to their family…in fact Jaden and Sandra Dee look very similar…like they are brother and sister!! Congratulations Sandra Dee, you are a very lucky girl!!!

Dez

Desmond was adopted yesterday by the Kuar family. They drove up to Philadelphia yesterday morning. After discussing Dez and his needs for a period of time, they met Dez and played with him. Then, we went for a long walk with him, and they got to see how he does on a leash. We returned to my home, where they continued playing with Dez, and then they decided to adopt him. We completed the paperwork, and packed up all of Dez's things. They returned to Maryland to introduce him to his new home. I am waiting to hear from them this morning on how he did for his first night. Congratulations Dez, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Baxter Claus

Joy & William brought their teen twins Shane & Samantha to meet Bella & Baxter. It was love at first sight for everyone. After the kids took the pups for a short walk outside, we all met in the livingroom. B&B were so excited, they completely forgot foster mom! Parents did paperwork & learned @ the pups while kids happily played with them on the carpet with new toys they brought them. Samantha spent her Christmas $$ on new beds for both pups! Congratulations Baxter Claus, you are a very lucky boy!!!
