A Yoshi

After a whirlwind year of loss, change, and uncertainty, Yoshi—the sweet little guy with the unforgettable “bat ears”—has finally found his forever home... and we couldn’t be happier for him! Yoshi’s journey wasn’t an easy one. After losing his beloved owner, he found himself shuffled between four different homes, each unable to keep him for one reason or another. But through it all, Yoshi remained the same: friendly, adaptable, and full of quiet resilience. He never gave up hope that the right home was out there—and it turns out, it was waiting for him all along. Enter a couple with big hearts and a long history of rescuing small dogs. After the loss of their last beloved pup this past spring, they thought it might be time for a break—a few years without the pitter-patter of paws. But the silence in their home said otherwise. They quickly realized that life just didn’t feel whole without a dog to love. And that’s when Yoshi came along. From the moment they saw him, they felt that spark. While waiting for Yoshi’s dental procedure to be completed, they didn’t just sit back and wait—they checked in every single day. We exchanged texts daily, filled with updates, pictures, and videos. Their excitement and commitment were clear, and it was obvious Yoshi had already claimed a place in their hearts. Now, Yoshi is home. Both of his new parents work from home, which means he’ll never be alone for long—a perfect match for a dog who’s experienced his fair share of instability. They’re patient, loving, and calm—just like Yoshi. And they understand separation anxiety because they’ve helped dogs through it before. They know it may never fully go away—and that’s alright. What matters most is that Yoshi will always feel safe, loved, and supported, no matter what. Yoshi is finally where he belongs, surrounded by love, security, and companionship. We couldn’t have dreamed up a better ending—or, better yet, a new beginning—for this little guy. Congratulations, Yoshi! Your forever family has found you, and your journey of love has just begun. 💕

Abigale

We were expecting winter weather that day, so Margie came bright and early. Abby seemed to remember her from the meet and greet and video chat and was happy to see Margie again. They played on the floor for a bit then Abby and Margie sat for a picture. Abby stayed close by while we filled out the adoption agreement sniffing Margie’s legs. Margie assured me she will send lots of updates and pictures and she has. Abby is coming out of her shell and becoming more confident. She is exploring her new home and even showing her playful side. This is a big change from my shy submissive, fearful little foster girl and I couldn’t be more happy for her and her new forever family. Although I will miss her, I am confident and grateful that Abby will be living her best life from now on! Congratulations Abigale!!!

Andrew Jackson

Jack and Bernie have been with us 6 weeks. They arrived as frighten, disheveled dogs who lacked trust and confidence. In a safe loving environment these two dogs have shown what wonderful personalities they have. They are happy, trusting and secure with us. They wake up in the morning and start wiggling their bodies, wagging their tales and Jack has started to squeal to communicate. Jack and Bernie are such good dogs and they make us so happy. We knew we could not let them go so, we're happy to say THEY HAVE FOUND THEIR FOREVER HOME.

Anakin

The little guy met his new Mom, Jana, and her Mom Kathie on St. Patrick’s Day. Jana and Kathie had traveled to Connecticut from South Jersey, arriving around 11:30 am. Anakin, Jana, and Kathie hit it off right away, with Anakin showing them around the house and the yard. Following a brief visit, many pictures, and a lunch, Anakin hopped into his car-pen for the drive home to New Jersey with his forever family. Pictured above is the Happy Family - Anakin, Jana and Kathie who is Anakin's Grandmom! Congratulations Anakin!!!

Amberr

After a very happy visit, Jo and Pat adopted Amber. They drove down from Erie PA yesterday, stayed with their daughter last night in York PA, and came this morning for the meet and greet. Pat played on the floor with Amber and she was in heaven. I think he may have worn her out which is good for the trip home. Hopefully, she will sleep part of the way home. Jo had her attention with the treats and toys she brought. I'm so happy for her, I believe she will receive all the love and attention she truly deserves. She's a special, perfect little girl. It was hard and sad to let her go. Congratulations Amberr!!!
