A Merlin

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!! When I got up this morning I could tell something different was going to happen. Mom and my bro Sammy and sis Sophie were very focused on me. They were happy and sad at the same time, but mostly happy. I had a nice long walks with both of them, had a snack and then took a nap. After awhile I did a super stretch, which I am quite good at, and mom said hey let's go for a walk. Sophie and I jumped at the chance. When we were coming back to the house a new car was in the driveway. New people = lots of opportunities for tummy rubs and attention. So of course I turned on my charm, ran up to them, gave them sniffs and kisses and completely let them know that I was the best looking and sweetest dog ever. Anyhow, I digress. We all went inside but Sophie and Sammy hung out in moms room so I had the new lady, Karen, and her husband Geoff, all to myself. They are sooooo nice. Lots of kisses from them, tummy rubs and undivided attention. They brought me a new leash and a new harness that matched. Quite spiffy let me tell you!!! Mom took a picture of me with Karen and Geoff and then I got to go outside and hop into their car. Get this, a new, yes new car seat just for me. They are soooo nice and happy and mom says I get to go live with them. This is awesome. I used to live in a small crate with 2 other dogs crammed in. I had fleas and terrible sores on my man parts from wet belly bands, and not very tasty food. The fleas are gone, thanks mom. I have a house to myself and a beautiful yard, tasty & nutritious food and people who think I am the most amazing pup ever. Yes, they have impeccable taste. Last but not least, Thank You Save a Yorkie Rescue. You saved me and ensured a furever home where I will thrive and not just survive. This never would have happened if you did not intervene.
