Colbie

This past Monday I got an email planning a push to get Colbie adopted; several people on a team would work together to find Colbie a home. Each of us had a job. I was to get him groomed and take some great pictures. Another person was going to put them on the website and someone else do Instagram and Facebook and so on. I forwarded the email to my husband so he would know what was going on. He immediately came upstairs from his office and said, "We should keep Colbie. He has become part of our family and if he leaves, we will all miss him, even me, and Bella (our first failed Foster) will miss him a lot." That was enough for me! I had been wanting to adopt Colbie for weeks. He has become such a wonderful, funny little companion. He has a schedule, and he has settled down a little bit. Don't get me wrong, we still go on plenty of walks and play lots of games! But now that Colbie feels comfortable and loved in his home, he's not quite so at loose ends and incredibly high energy all the time. This week he started classes with a trainer, and he has already learned to settle and stay and to touch. Goals: less craziness getting out the door. Less craziness when meeting other dogs on the sidewalk. Wish us luck with the training and the journey. We certainly feel lucky to have adopted Colbie! Congratulations Colbie!!!

Chayse

Chayse is my first foster, and first foster fail! I drove to New Jersey 2.5 months ago with friends to meet another volunteer half way, and on our way back in the backseat of the car we started to bond. Even though he didn’t look like a Yorkie, and was so skinny you could see his ribs, and he had the runs, and was as nervous as could be, my heart melted. He is a completely different dog now. So handsome. Very confident and loyal, loves his walks, his toys, helping me in the yard, playing with the neighbor’s dogs, and resting while I work. Can’t imagine life without him now! Congratulations Chayse!!!

Chase NY

Chase NY has left for PA! He was so happy to meet Marilyn, her son Chris and his girlfriend! Chase enjoyed the trip in the car and has settled right into his new home! Congratulations Chase NY!!!

Caleb

I am so happy to tell you Caleb has a new family and forever home. Shirley, Maddie, Mike and also Twix, Caleb’s new partner in mischief. It was a very easy meet and greet with everyone falling for Calebs charm. They all found a treasure in each other. Congratulations Caleb!!!

Chance

Wanted to share this picture of Chance and Beautiful Bella with their new family! They were super sweet dogs who found a great couple to become their forever family. This was taken right before they both jumped into the car super excited to head to Connecticut. Congratulations Chance!!!
